Getting a useful answer
Three things worth telling us
None of these are required. They just mean we can answer properly first time instead of writing back to ask.
What the car is
Make, model and roughly the year. Add the kilometres if you know them — it changes which package we would suggest.
Where it is
The suburb is enough. It tells us whether it is inside our no-call-out-fee area and how soon we could get there.
How soon you need it
If somebody else is looking at the car this week, say so. We will tell you honestly whether we can get there in time.
What to expect
When you will hear back
Same working day, usually within a few hours
Messages sent overnight or at the weekend are answered the next working morning. If it has been longer than that, something has gone wrong at our end and we would want to know.
Greater Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich
From Redcliffe and North Lakes down to Loganholme, and west to Ipswich and Springfield, with no call-out fee. Further out, ask anyway — we usually still get there.
We will tell you if it is not worth it
On a cheap car, or one you have already had checked, an inspection sometimes is not the right spend. We would rather say that than take the booking.
Ring rather than write if…
- Someone else is seeing the car today or tomorrow
- The seller is pushing for a deposit
- You are at the car right now and unsure
- It is a 4×4, ute, van, hybrid or EV and you want the exact price
Seeing a car this week?
Book before you hand over a deposit. Most inspections happen within 48 hours, and you will have the report the same day.
